As an Assistant Category Merchandiser within the Commercial function, you'll be working with some of the top technology brands such as HP, Lenovo and Samsung to name a few. This role will be responsible for stock and range management of Windows Desktops and Monitors, requiring and individual who can work a level of autonomy and with good business acumen.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you will be responsible for:

• Building close relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and our supply chain to ensure continuity of supply
• Stepping up and take responsibility for achieving all key performance indicators (sales, stock, margin and markdown)
• Reviewing sales forecasts based on historical data, seasonal trends and market trends
• Monitoring weekly performance and make recommendations to ensure that we implement in-season plans and deliver target availability across the store estate

You will need:

• Previous experience in Merchandising, ideally in consumer goods, technology, non fashion or a fashion related sector
• A relevant degree (or equivalent), e.g., Marketing, Merchandising, Retail or Business
• Knowledge of merchandise planning systems such as SAP, Compass Planning or similar
• Experience of business objects
• Strong numerical, analytical skills, and communication skills
