The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager in our High Wycombe branch. In this role, you will support the day-to-day supervision of the branch team, drive improvements in the customer experience, and contribute to enhancing sales performance. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will play a key part in maximising sales and profitability, while ensuring the efficient management of daily operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting customers on the trade counter and telephone as well as helping when needed to load.
• Working with the Branch Manager on all aspects of branch development and customer service.
• Stock replenishment from ordering materials to ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Any other appropriate duties given by the Branch Manager.
• Supervision of a team of colleagues.
• Supporting the Branch Manager in the execution of the Sales plan for the branch.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient management of daily operations.
• Ensuring all branch activity is centered around the customer and ensuring they have the best possible experience.
• Provide cover for the Branch Manager when required.

The Hours

• Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:15
• Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:15 & alternate Saturdays, 08:00 - 12:00
