Job title: Assistant Project Manager – Analysis and Design

Location: Portsmouth – Broad Oak. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £55,000 commensurate on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Accountable for delivery of projects to budget, time and quality
  • Track and drive project financials, including CRSs, invoicing, and monitoring spend versus forecast
  • Utilise experience in risk management to address project risks effectively
  • Apply strong commercial acumen to project activities
  • Ensure adherence to essential procedures based on personal knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Multitask effectively and provide clear direction, guidance, and support to project teams
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively

Your skills and experiences:

  • Working towards a Professional PM Qualification or equivalent practical experience gained through application of Project Management
  • Recognised as a Project Manager practitioner with project delivery experience
  • Ability to resolve project related problems that do not have routine solutions
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience in financial reporting and managing budgets
  • Knowledge of good bid practice and process
  • Possesses strong and refined communication and diplomacy skills, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Quick learner, adept at grasping new concepts rapidly

The Analysis and Design Team:

This is a key management role in the Analysis and Design team to drive and deliver the T26 training.
