Location: Samlesbury – on site
Salary: £54,793.00+ pending experience
What you’ll be doing:
• Provide Asset Management governance over Air sector’s manufacturing asset portfolio in line with the requirements of ISO55001
• Lead the development of the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) for Manufacturing
• Lead the development of toolsets and processes that enhance asset management capabilities
• Collaborate with support functions to review asset management information and processes to drive improvement and standardisation in a structured and controlled manner
• Develop, deliver and continually improving the asset assurance reporting systems
• Report on the health of the Asset Management System (AMS) to internal/external stakeholders
• Ensure that the business has embedded a robust and integrated internal audit programme
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to embed a culture of asset management across the business
• Support BAE Systems and external Community of Practice (CoP) with respect to Asset Management
Your skills and experience:
• Maintenance, project or engineering background with experience and knowledge of asset ‘lifecycle’
• Experience of dealing with relevant governance/assurance management systems within a manufacturing environment
• Good people skills and an ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Management and development of appropriate data sets, systems, processes, and toolsets
• Experience or ability to manage data driven asset management principles and CI

The Manufacturing Asset Management Team:
This is a fantastic opportunity to help embed a strong asset management culture across Air sector manufacturing. The team is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of our ISO55001 certification and the development and deployment of core asset management capabilities to enhance the ‘through life’ management of manufacturing’s asset portfolio at Samlesbury. You will be collaborating with cross functional teams who are responsible for establishing and maintaining manufacturing capability across our current and future programmes. The role will bring lots of opportunity for further career development in a key area of the business.
As an Asset Management Governance Lead, you will provide governance of the Asset Management framework, systems and process and be responsible for the overall governance of asset management across the manufacturing portfolio across the Samlesbury site.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to further develop Asset management arrangements which will benefit the site and future business for the near future.
