Job Description
As an Asset Interface Manager, you are crucial in improving the quality and integrity of asset data and records. You will be responsible for identifying and specifying Minor Works asset replacement projects and assisting in the specification of larger H7 projects.
Successful candidates need to pass the PTS Rail Medical requirements for Heathrow and Network Rail.
Responsibilities
- As the Interface Manager you will develop close relationships with the project delivery teams and representing our operational delivery teams ensuring high standards are achieved and delivered
- Identifying and pursue Minor Works plans and requests where asset condition records intervention is required, alongside maintaining asset integrity for existing assets with focus on improving quality and content of asset information
- Seamless delivery of new assets into the operation, ensuring asset integration and associated records are to the required standards while facilitating ongoing works
- Represent the rail, engineering and baggage operation in project and technical forums and understand the asset requirements
- Deliver a structured approach to the development of asset integrity where the technical wants and needs of the delivery team is understood and catered for
Qualifications
- Engineering based qualification to level 4 or higher, or equivalent work experience
- Broad, transferable knowledge of a wide range of assets, systems, and improvement methodologies
- Demonstrate knowledge of management systems and risk management
- Collaborative, influential and the ability to clearly demonstrate appropriate behaviour
- Effective problem solver, analytical approach to complex issues and developing innovative solutions
