We are seeking a motivated leader to join Claridge's ArtSpace Café and Bakery team as Manager

As part of the small, seasoned team you will be helping to present beautifully crafted viennoiserie, serving thoughtfully prepared beverages and creating an inviting atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming. Just next door, Claridge's Bakery brings classic British baking to Mayfair. From freshly baked sourdough bloomers to tarts and pastries, it is a place where skill meets passion.
As Manageryou will be responsible for:
- The day to day running of Claridge's ArtSpace Café and Claridge's Bakery. Ensuring that your time is split equally between both outlets in order to ensure a consistent high standard in both areas.
- The recruitment, training and development of all colleagues within the department
- Maintaining high standards of service which is friendly and welcoming to reflect the neighbourhood ethos of the outlets
- Budget and cost management, brining exciting ideas for revenue generation
- Managing and maintaining operating equipment and stock levels
- Maintaining a good knowledge of regular guests and customers
Successful candidates for our Manager opportunity will:
- Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge's and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
- Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories
- Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role previously.
- Be passionate about coffee, coffee origins and coffee making.
- You will have a passion for food and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner, who wants to be challenged and developed.
- Have previous experience in leading a small team
- Be able to demonstrate a proven financial acumen.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
