Area Security Manager - North

Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE) + Company Car

Monday to Friday role - however attendance to sites out of these hours will be required in line with business needs.

We are looking for an experienced Area Security Manager to oversee 14 sites in and around the Manchester and Leeds area and 2 sites in Northern Ireland.

You will organize and oversee all security operations across the area. Security personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Team management
  • HR and Payroll management
  • Managing compliance
  • Auditing
  • Supplier management
  • Rostering
  • Completing welfare checks
  • Performance management
  • Attend client meetings
  • Produce data and presentations for stakeholders at all levels

About you:

  • 3-5 years experience in Operational Management within the Security Industry
  • Multi-site experience in a similar role and similar background
  • Excellent understanding of the corporate security industry
  • Understanding and experience of working with security technology and innovation that can be used to benefit efficiency, reporting and auditing
  • SIA Door Supervisor essential
  • CCTV SIA license ideal
  • Proven people management skills
  • Relevant experience of customer and client services delivery
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of the team and create rapport with key stakeholders
  • Be proactive, flexible, adaptable in their approach, results-oriented with great attention to detail
  • Be IT and computer literate
  • First line HSE qualifications to include risk assessment skills

Please note: B27875 and DBS screening will be required for the role
