Area Sales Manager - High Performance Flooring

Job Description

As the Area Sales Manager within High Performance Flooring you will be covering the North West, Midlands and Wales and developing existing accounts and creating new business within the Resin Flooring Market.

Responsibilities

  • Visit and develop relationships with Flooring Contractors and Specifiers
  • Identify and secure new business in our market areas
  • Establish and build solid relationships both internally and externally
  • Provide advice on Flooring systems and our product line
  • Handle any potential customer complaints or claims
  • Understand the needs of our customers and translate those into cost effective specifications
  • Organizing trials, training, and demos. Assist in the correct execution of Flooring projects on site, in association with Technical Service Department
  • Provide advance information on demand for products
  • Negotiate term contracts for supplies
  • Negotiate price increases as advised by the business

Qualifications

  • Experience in the flooring industry, specifically resins technology
  • Self-motivated, a good team player and possess good planning, organizational and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Build customer relationships and put together logical and coherent arguments.
  • Experience in a sales role within a resin flooring or similar environment but must have experience of the customer base in the relevant market area.
  • Valid driving license.
