They work as trusted partners, creating better solutions and experiences for their customers, communities, and colleagues.About the opportunity:This is a superb, Perth based senior management opportunity in which you will have full responsibility/accountability for the safety, growth and profitability of the Area Concrete business including driving sales and revenue and overseeing operations across the area. It is a pivotal role - requiring a talented and energetic leader with a unique blend of strategic and operational expertise which will enable you to drive the day-to-day business as well as to influence and contribute to its strategic direction. Responsibilities are wide with key result areas covering SHE, Financials, Reporting, Leadership and People Development, Sales and Marketing, Strategy and Operational Performance, Industrial Relations as well as Operations Management. You will maximise opportunities with existing and new clients; deliver agreed sales, operational targets and business goals and develop and maintain relationships with major clients whilst providing inspirational leadership to a large and professional team.Further and detailed accountabilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request.About you:To succeed in this critical role, Engineering and/ or Commercial qualifications are desirable and you should demonstrate a history of success in pivotal leadership positions, ideally within the Concrete, Aggregates or related industries - for example heavy manufacturing sectors servicing the civil construction industry. You will be an experienced leader and a team player - someone who is passionate about driving overall business performance with a growth agenda and with solid, practical skills and knowledge in developing the capability of teams. You will thrive on engendering solid business relationships and be level-headed and down to earth with exemplary standards of ethical conduct and professional judgment with a positive, resilient, curious and goal orientated nature.
