Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and deliver all contractual terms within the Capita Contracts.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews (MBR & QBR) with Capita Management.
  • All actions to be completed following MBR & QBR, and prior to the next meeting.
  • Ensure all company directives are correctly implemented.
  • Grow the business in Identifying any additional opportunities and discuss with line manager.
  • Action plans are completed following internal FM audits and QSM audits.
  • Analyse and effectively manage all unit costs.
  • Ensure that all services both fixed and variable (Cleaning, Security, Reception, Mailroom, Porterage and sub-contracted) are well managed and in line with the agreed cost book specifications.
  • Ensure that services are as per agreed levels stipulated in site Change Control Notices (CCN).
  • Manage any contractual contract change requirements through the correct FMF20 process.
  • Manage quotation process through the Capita Helpdesk to ensure 14forty maximises the opportunity for new business and maximises variable works in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage margin performance across all units to meet required standards operationally and within the required budget performance.
  • Effectively minimise any agency and overtime spend.
  • Ensure budgets are understood and achieved my yourself and your teams.
  • Ensure all costs are managed effectively within budget, all additional services requested are fully costed and revenue recovered through correct use of the variable invoicing on the Capita Helpdesk.
  • Deliver the profit for the region through leading the Unit Managers in delivery of their financial targets.
  • Ensure that the end of period review and amend is conducted in a timely manner accurately.
  • Taking reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or what they fail to do.
  • Implement all relevant HSE procedures within each unit and review them as appropriate.
  • Ensure all sub-contractors are fully aware of Capita and Compass Group HSE requirements when working on site, that they follow those requirements. Any issues are dealt with immediately and escalated as required.
  • Ensure that all HSE incidents are correctly reported and investigated with relevant reviews of work procedures.
  • Maintain up to date training records for all employees under your control.
  • Report HSE issues beyond your control to your line manager.
  • Implement the requirements of HSE campaigns that are initiated to improve HSE performance.
  • Support the planning and implementation of any strategy of growth and retention of new and existing business through the development of long-term account plans.
  • Ensure succession and manpower planning policies are in place and actively encouraged.
  • Ensure that management continually implement, develop, and monitor activities that will enhance team development and engagement and loyalty.
  • Ensure contract is compliant and run commercially in line with net growth and retention targets.
  • Adherence to all client and company policies.
  • Ensure delivery and management of labour strategy in line with contract specifications.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Training and development of all employees.

About You:

Essential

  • Proven track record in managing clients and developing portfolios.
  • Proven experience in managing successful teams remotely.
  • Multi-site operational experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of leading and managing teams to deliver results.
  • Track record of growing sales and retaining business.
  • Hard and Soft Facilities or similar background.
  • Previous budget management and/or profit & loss responsibility.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Can demonstrate commercial awareness.
  • Can demonstrate a sound understanding of the FM market, changes in technology that can provide greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience in highly commercial and price sensitive markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • I.T & computer literate.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH
  • Level 4 and above in Facilities Management
  • SIA License

Desirable

  • Good knowledge Degree qualified.
  • FM background
  • Knowledge of facilities management methods and procedures
  • Self-motivated and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Project / Change management experience
