AREA MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Area Manager you are responsible for delivering retail sales targets and KPIs for an area of staffed doors. You will also ensure strong retailer operational excellence.

Your main focus:

• Develop, coach, and manage a team of brand ambassadors to help achieve a high-performance culture of excellence.
• Delivering sales objectives
• Store Analytics and actions plans
• Excellence of execution, perfect execution to protect brand equity
• People Management- work with education ambassadors and training managers and take an active role in regional and national sales meetings
• Instore events- work with ambassadors with event planning
• Recruitment - work with the recruitment team on Talent Planning, recruitment, and retention
• Temp Staff Management - manage multi brand temp staff budget within area in line with company principles and guidelines, key focus on Xmas, optimizing budget to place staff where return will be maximized.
• Performance Management- working with HR and senior regional managers to identify performance issues early and manage through formal and informal process
• HR - deal with disciplinaries, absence and ensure all HR documents are completed

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

As an experienced Area Manager, you have a proven history of successful retail management including managing large teams and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:

• Have commercial awareness and strong analytical skills
• Are results driven
• Have excellent prioritisation and time management skills
• Problem solving: Identifying and recommending solutions to resolve issues and maximize opportunities.
• Genuine affinity with the beauty industry
• Strong communication skills - Ability to effectively listen, influence and persuade.
• Strong IT skills - MS Office, including Access DB, Advanced Excel and Power point
