As the Area Credit Manager, you will report to Corporate Credit Manager EMEA, and you will manage Parker Hannifin's Trade Receivables which includes:
- Minimizing credit risk while supporting profitable growth.
- Supporting sales growth with credit and financial tools tailored to the geographic area and customers portfolio.
- Ensuring corporate cash flow objectives are met and credit policies are followed.
The position will be based in Coventry, UK and will contribute to and drive process standardization and enhancements that will result in productivity improvements across the value stream.
Your responsibilities & scope
- Review customer credit applications and approve credit limits to ensure compliance with company policy, minimizing financial risk.
- Interact with customers to minimize overdue accounts and drive the escalation process where necessary, liaising with key stakeholders
- Approve and negotiate payment terms with customers to ensure alignment with company policy and initiate legal actions as necessary.
- Compile and present accounts receivable metrics and KPIs to senior management to inform strategic decision-making and drive improvements in collections processes.
- Lead projects that drive significant improvements in the order-to-cash and credit processes, resulting in enhanced efficiency and optimized cash flow management
- The ACM UK&IE will manage Trade AR for Parker's UK, Ireland and South African Industrial Segment customer base.

Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in credit management, accounts receivable, or trade finance with knowledge of credit risk assessment; experience in evaluating creditworthiness and managing credit risk.
- Excellent reporting skills: ability to interpret as well as prepare and present reports on credit performance, risk assessments or collections activities to senior management.
- Skilled in various computer applications, with a focus on Microsoft products.
- Proactive and action oriented with capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively with proven leadership skills in project management and change initiatives
- Customer-oriented mindset: strong focus on maintaining positive relationships with customers while effectively managing risk and credit terms

The Role
As the Area Credit Manager, you will report to the Corporate Credit Manager EMEA and manage Parker Hannifin's trade receivables across the UK, Ireland, and South Africa (Industrial Segment). You will be responsible for minimizing credit risk while supporting profitable growth, ensuring corporate cash flow objectives are met, and driving process standardization and enhancements that improve productivity across the value stream.
Key Responsibilities

Who We Are Looking For
