Job overview

The Analytics Delivery Manager (ADM) is a new role that will work across both Barnet, Enfield and Haringey (BEH) and Camden and Islington (C and I) mental health trusts and the postholder will lead on the development of the Partnership's analytical function and the development of an organisational data-driven culture. On a day-to-day basis, the Analytical Delivery Manager will manage the Trust's team of Business Intelligence Analysts and build strong relationships with operational directorates and corporate teams.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for the production, development and promotion of analysis and analytical solutions for the Partnership organisations, specifically focussed on mental health service delivery
  • Management of resources within the analytics and business intelligence team
  • Provision of plans to deliver new analytical projects within agreed timescales
  • Working in collaboration with the Data Platform & Engineering Team, provision of accurate and timely reporting to support the Partnership's business intelligence needs.
  • Provides expert advice and guidance on information and statistical matters including the development of mental health-related datasets and analysis.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Educated to Master's level in a technical data-related discipline or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in a healthcare Data and Analytics function.

Skills

Essential criteria

  • Expert level of database skills and computer languages - including SQL, relational database design, querying, and reporting functions obtained in a real-world environment
  • Ability to analyse data, add value and intelligence for others based on understanding of wider trends and other factors and you can confidently communicate complex messages based on data
  • Skilled in statistics as a practitioner with the ability to convey complex methodologies and best practices to non-technical peers
  • High level of software skills, including SQL Server, PowerBI and Excel

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience of working analytically with healthcare data to develop clinical service focused solutions and analysis
  • Extensive experience in the use of PowerBI to develop advanced dashboards and reports
  • Experienced in the application of data science techniques, specifically in building, deploying and monitoring predictive models
