The Amplifi platform includes all media buying/investment management, trading, and the following: The Story Lab, Amnet and Posterscope businesses.

Amplifi is the investment management arm of Dentsu International across all media channels and entertainment content. The proposition is based on the delivery of value for all in everything we do. Our focus is to deliver the best possible media value for clients through leveraged media buying, sustainable media income and enable innovation with the supply-side with product, services, and capabilities.

We're hiring for a Commercial Operations Director as part of Amplifi in London

Purpose of the Role

This role manages the Amplifi global media income risk management and risk and control teams and will report into the Head of Commercial Operation, Amplifi Global.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the Amplifi Commercial Operations team that focus on risk identification and monitoring as well as delivery and protection of media income delivery across all markets.
  • Leading the Amplifi Risk and Control team, responsible for delivering independent 2nd line of defence testing of Internal Control Framework (ICF).
  • Ensuring Amplifi fully aligns with the integrated assurance group function and internal control framework (ICF).
  • Responsible for service income client audit programs.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of media income tools.
  • Being the main point of contact and support the in-market teams on media income diversification and risk management.
  • Being the main point of contact for the business on commercial compliance, promoting compliance initiatives and best practices across the business.
  • Working with Commercial Operations, Legal, Finance and Amplifi teams across the network to ensure there is an aligned understanding of the compliance environment and correct processes in place to drive delivery against strategic objectives and accurate reporting of Amplifi P&L.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Qualified accountant with +10 years PQE or similar business degree.
  • Languages - English (essential) + another European language (preferably).
  • Strong communication, negotiation skills and management of the relationship with senior stakeholders.
  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles and/or setting up and managing Commercial Compliance reviews and managing multiple projects within practice (and industry, nice to have)
  • Industry experience in media including but not limited to trading, supply side income, programmatic, and client contract compliance with a strong understanding of Agency commercials.
