On a given day, you will:
- Spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge AML/CFT policies and procedures, ensuring Deriv stays ahead of the regulatory curve.
- Lead and mentor a dynamic team of compliance professionals, creating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Analyse complex data sets to identify potential risks and suspicious activities, using your expertise to protect our business and clients.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic compliance initiatives across the organisation.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of our AML/CFT framework, recommending and implementing enhancements to keep Deriv at the forefront of regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert guidance to various business units, helping them navigate the intricate world of financial regulations while supporting business growth.

We would love to work with you if you:
- Have 8+ years of experience in anti-money laundering or regulatory compliance, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment.
- Hold a university degree in law, risk management, criminology, finance, or a related field.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and fraud detection techniques.
- Have experience with compliance-related systems and technologies.
- Excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis, with strong skills in Excel and big data analysis.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Are known for your integrity, reliability, and strong work ethic.
