What you will do:

  • Lead and deliver a dynamic calendar of events, from graduations to recruitment drives.
  • Be the go-to expert for both physical and virtual events, ensuring every detail is covered.
  • Engage with high-profile presenters and event organizers to create standout experiences.
  • Support live virtual events, managing behind-the-scenes logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing Team to leverage events for student recruitment and community engagement.
  • Innovate and explore sponsorship opportunities to finance our events.
  • Drive alumni engagement and manage a vibrant community platform for alumni, students, and families.
  • Ensure events adhere to safety protocols and deliver top-notch experiences.

Abbeygate Sixth Form

Abbeygate Sixth Form College is part of the Suffolk Academies Trust, working closely with One Sixth Form College and West Suffolk College. Abbeygate opened in 2019, with a Year 12 cohort only; in September 2020 we moved into our brand new state-of-the-art building, accommodating both Year 12 and 13. We offer a broad and balanced A Level curriculum, with a wide range of activities and opportunities to enrich and extend students' experience to develop well-rounded individuals with the essential skills required for their future studies and careers.

One Sixth Form

Suffolk Academies Trust is currently comprised of One Sixth Form College in Ipswich and Abbeygate Sixth Form College in Bury St Edmunds. Together with West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds, we have formed the Eastern Education Group, which is a collective of visionary post-16 education providers. Sharing the same ambitious strategic aims, we are committed to providing outstanding vocational and academic excellence to over 15,000 students across the region.

West Suffolk College

West Suffolk College is one of the country's leading further education and apprenticeship providers. Our apprenticeship results have consistently remained above the national average. We offer many degrees, HNCs and HNDs at our focused and inclusive University Studies Centre. We have around 13,000 students including nearly 2,000 apprentices studying with us.
