The Role
We are looking for a dynamic team member with a flights background to play a crucial role in building and supporting external and internal partnerships, functions and strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and commercially astute individual to join our team as an Airline Business Development Manager with a Northern Europe focused portfolio.
In this Role:
- You will play a vital role in developing the Trip.com Northern Europe flight market.
- You will work locally in the market and with wider teams on a regional and global basis.
- Responsibility for contracting and negotiating airline content and commercials and performance.
- Working with internal departments, you will use local market knowledge and experience to influence our market strategy for flights.
- Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for developing and growing Local, Regional and Global airline relationships.
What you'll Need to Succeed:
- Willing and able to travel.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Results orientated and experience working to strict deadlines
- Capable to work independently with minimal supervision
- Outstanding negotiation skills
- Experience developing and implementing initiatives to drive performance with key airline partners.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with internal stakeholders to drive commercial objectives
- Ability to analyse internal and external data to guide commercial decision-making
- Knowledgeable of a wide variety of content and markets served from Northern Europe
- 4-5 years of Travel Industry experience from airline/travel agency, distribution and/or sales and marketing.
