Job Title: Off Aircraft Mechanical Technician
Location: RAF Lossiemouth
Salary: £37,356
What you’ll be doing:
- You will carry out the maintenance and repairs of varied Components within the Off Aircraft environment
- You may be required to provide guidance to less experienced team members in a diverse and dynamic operational environment
- Analyse and diagnose faults to equipment & assemblies, follow diagnostic procedures and work effectively within a team to provide guidance to less experienced team members in a diverse and dynamic operational environment
- You will be involved in problem solving and fault diagnosis abilities are key with a good approach to team working
Your skills and experiences:
- Suitably qualified Technician with varied experience on fast jet aircraft and components undergoing repair and modification
- Skill at hand and problem-solving abilities are key
- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, or Military equivalent apprenticeship. Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661/NVQ Level in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent

The role is key position within a small team responsible for servicing & testing various Mechanical & composite components.
