AI Governance Manager - AI Centre of Excellence (CoE)

AI Governance Manager to shape and drive the AI governance policies, frameworks, and processes for the whole Informa Group.

The role will involve working closely with the Group Data Governance forum, with colleagues in the AI CoE, and with business stakeholders. The key aim being to ensure that our AI systems are transparent, ethical, and compliant with relevant geo regulations, and that colleagues across Informa understand what they need to do.

The role suits passionate, proactive, goal-oriented candidates who are intellectually curious, and thrive in complicated but ambitious organisations. The role is well-suited to versatile candidates with a background in AI Governance, Data Governance, etc. People with heart and ambition, and a strong mix of emotional and professional intelligence, will be successful in the role.

Your role:

  • Working in lockstep with the Groupwide Data Governance function, manage the co-creation of AI policies, governance, frameworks, processes and methodologies, for adoption across Informa. Using the NIST AI risk management framework as a key input. It's critical that solutions are pragmatic in what is an unclear space and off the shelf methodologies do not yet exist
  • Lead on implementing and Operationalising AI Risk Framework across the enterprise, in a manner that is scalable and sustainable. This includes identifying, selecting and implementing tooling to streamline and automate activities where possible. Put in place suitable KPI dashboards so there is total transparency and full traceability
  • Co-ordinate with Group and each business division on their implementation plan of responsible AI to align with agreed AI standards
  • Own and maintain master register of AI deployments across Informa, what type of deployment, risk profiles against it, reporting criteria, etc
  • Organise and administer, AI governance forum, changing/updating processes & standards alongside updates to master policies, etc
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the AI CoE and the divisions, define project requirements for responsible AI adoption, oversee implementation and act as an implementation partner. Provide advice and guidance so roadmaps take AI policy into consideration from the outset. Support divisions from a change management perspective in the pursuit of common goals around responsible AI usage
  • Collaborate with AI CoE colleagues to determine technical solution designs for recording, traceability, feeding KPI dashboards etc
  • Continually review audits from technology platform in relation to validate data inputs, outputs, decision logic, to determine quality, and any issues in relation to bias, drift, hallucination, ethics, etc
  • Prepare regular written reports on responsible AI implementation to senior management and co-chair forums on AI Adoption across Informa
  • Co-create, own and complete training & communication plan for roll-out of responsible AI in Informa, focused on continually increasing AI maturity across the enterprise (Responsible and Ethical AI by design)
  • Continual horizon scanning of regulation, compliance, responsible usage of AI. Attending events to represent Informa, provide thought leadership and knowledge share
  • Be the Expert AI policy advisor to colleagues as well as legal, senior management, etc
  • Undertake responsible AI impact assessments on existing as well as new suppliers providing AI services, and internal + external development teams
