Agile Project Manager (FTC - 12 months) - Programmes & Analysis (General)

Location: London (Hybrid)

The role

Rightmove have over 20 multi-disciplinary teams delivering software for our consumers, customers and internal staff. They are all supported by a Platform Reliability Engineering (PRE) team who look after core infrastructure, databases, site reliability and application platforms. The PRE team require an adaptable, enthusiastic and organised person to help them deliver improvements for their internal customers and support the team more widely. The role has a varied set of responsibilities and includes agile delivery management at different levels, vendor management, procurement, portfolio reporting and being a contact point for external teams. If you enjoy getting involved in a wide range of things and are up for a challenge, then this could be the job for you. Whilst this role will be primarily supporting the PRE team, they will sit within a new Programmes and Analysis team.

What you'll be doing
• Manage initiatives that span multiple agile teams
• Create overarching plans, track progress, manage risks, manage scope and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Where required, lead the agile delivery process for an individual team. This includes managing sprint planning, regular stand ups, sprint reviews, retros and working to remove team blockers
• Support the team with procurement and vendor management. This includes facilitating vendor due diligence processes, raising purchase orders and managing specific supplier relationships
• Collate and distribute regular reporting at both a team and portfolio level
• Act as a contact point for the wider Platform team. Prioritise and assign tasks to the relevant teams/individuals and provide status updates

• Is highly organised
• Is flexible and adaptable
• Has strong attention to detail
• Is results-orientated and can be trusted to get things done
• Has a customer-focused attitude

What you'll bring to the role
• 3-5 years of agile delivery experience within technology teams
• Preferably experience working on technical platform/infrastructure initiatives (but not essential)
• Experience of managing initiatives that cross multiple teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expertise in collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack and Miro
