The roleWe are looking for someone who is passionate about building high-performing teams. Agile Delivery Managers within Viewer Experience & Streaming tech work across a range of cross-functional work streams to deliver value to consumers of ITV's digital propositions, which includes ITVX and ITV News.
Responsibilities:
- Coach, motivate and empower teams through the adoption of agile values, principles and good practices.
- Help build trust and transparency within teams by promoting a collaborative and communicative environment.
- Champion an agile mindset to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Be a positive change agent to coach our teams to new or improved ways of working
- Oversee delivery for 2 teams. Teams might be formed of fully cross functional viewer journey teams and/or technical platform domain teams.
- Facilitate team and cross-team events.
- Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure transparent goals and priorities.
- Help identify and remove impediments.
- Use tools like Jira and Trello to help teams plan, coordinate and optimise flow.
- Contribute towards ITV's Agile Delivery community, sharing knowledge and experiences to help build capabilities across the organisation.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Demonstrable prior experience as an Agile Delivery Manager, Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
- Well-versed in building trust and coaching teams toward self-management and cross-functional behaviours.
- Interest and understanding of various agile frameworks, methods and good practices.
- Capable of managing work and dependencies across multiple internal and external partner teams.
- Experience of using empiricism to drive continuous improvement in planning, forecasting and predictability.
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholder demands.
