In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

The purpose of this role is to:
• Manage all aspects of the costing and pricing activity, updating both the BAAN systems and M3 P300
• Develop pricing methodologies and cost modelling capabilities to support the growth of 3S sales. To enable us to respond to the customer with a minimum of ROM pricing
• Develop and manage relationships with key customers both internal and external and actively support the 3S way of working
• Manage the risks and opportunities to achieve the aftermarket sales budget in support of the bid/no bid process
• Manage all Aftermarket pricing catalogue activity and distribute to 3S Pricing Manager and Customers
• Effective management of the front office way of working, utilising best practise and formalising this within the key business process framework.
• To successfully implement M3 processes and procedures as a standard way of working
• To manage the effective integration of M3 into SSGB for all customers
• Ensuring proactive and regular effective communication is maintained with all Customers Fully establish the global network
• Responsible for delivering effective supplier performance management, reducing lead times and costs via robust governance of the Purchasing Service Level Agreement
• To implement a collective front office support team for spares and repairs
• Ensure an effective direct link for Safran seat services and the manufacturing units within 3S
• Full implementation and adherence to effective departmental KPI's
• Escalation point for any issues that cannot be resolved by the immediate team
• Introduction and sharing of best practice within the Safran Seats Services
• A competent user of MS office applications
• Full support and adherence to the Safran Seats Services balance score card objectives.
