This role has a starting salary of £68,774 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week. This is a full-time position but part-time applications will be considered.

About the Role
We are excited to be hiring a Senior Manager based in Camberley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to work as part of an integrated leadership team working closely with health colleagues to improve the outcomes for our residents in Surrey Heath. We love finding new and innovative ways to improve care and support for our local population - and you will be a key contributor to making that happen!
The provision of local personalised support is at the heart of our service. You will be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day delivery of high quality adult social care support, managing both locality and hospital social care teams. You will be an integral member of your local leadership team within your specific geographical area across South-West Surrey and Surrey Heath. You will have responsibility for a delegated budget and for improving and maintaining high performance standards of the teams you are responsible for.
The borough of Surrey Heath covers 36.5 square miles in South West Surrey. It is an attractive mix of urban and rural environment and shares boundaries with a number of other local authorities from Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. The urban part of the Borough comprises of Camberley, Frimley, Deepcut, Mytchett and Frimley Green. Other centres of population in the more rural part of the Borough are Windlesham, Bagshot, Chobham, Bisley, West End and Lightwater.
In this role, you will work strategically with district and borough council partners, health providers, care providers and the independent and voluntary sector. You will develop effective relationships that are focussed on improving the lives of the local population in general and in particular those people that we provide support to. You will be a key member of the Frimley ICS and have operational responsibility for Adult Social Care in Frimley Park Hospital and Farnham Hospital, ensuring timely appropriate discharges promoting home first.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and innovative and can provide strong leadership for the local social care teams they will be responsible for. You will have a professional qualification in health or social care and a proven track record of successfully managing teams within a health or social care setting. You will have a comprehensive and applied knowledge of adult social care legislation and an understanding and commitment to supporting carers and demonstrable commitment to delivering support and managing staff in accordance with the Councils policies.
