About the Role
We are now looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and dynamic Adolescence Service Manager to take a strategic lead in the development and delivery of services for children and young people, including Youth Justice and commissioned services.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the Youth Justice Service, ensuring local KPIS are met and National Standards and KPIs set by the Ministry of Justice and Youth Justice Boards.
You'll manage a dedicated team, drive collaboration across statutory, voluntary, and community sectors, and ensure that high-quality services meet statutory requirements and deliver the best outcomes for young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational and strategic management of the Adolescence Service, ensuring effective service delivery and partnership working across sectors.
- Ensure that children, young people, and families receive early help, safeguarding, and effective interventions that prevent escalation to statutory services.
- Take responsibility for service planning, development, and policy implementation in line with corporate and departmental priorities.
- Lead a talented team, offering regular supervision, development opportunities, and monitoring individual and team performance.
- Manage budgets and resources to meet service needs and achieve National Standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) while remaining within financial and statutory regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other city departments, agencies, and voluntary organisations to ensure a holistic approach to supporting young people and their families.

- You will be educated to degree level in a relevant Children's service (e.g., Dip SW/CQSW, Youth Justice, education, health, Probation, Youth Work etc,.).
