About this Role

The University of KentAcademies Trust is seeking a highly organised and proactive Admissions Managerto join Chatham Grammar. This role is responsible for managing studentadmissions for Years 7 to 13 ensuring all processescomply with statutory requirements and Trust policies. The postholder willcoordinate and administer key academy events, including Open Evenings,transition activities, and Parents' Evenings, acting as the main point ofcontact for parents, students, the Local Authority, and internal teams.

This is a permanent role for 37 hours per week, and whilst mostly term time, it requires the postholder to work two additional weeks duringschool holidays. One of these weeks is specifically allocated to August, tosupport GCSE results administration, as Sixth Form admissions are confirmedfollowing exam outcomes.

The successful candidate willhave experience in administrative roles, ideally within an educational setting,with strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasksefficiently, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility,initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to safeguarding and thewelfare of children and young people are essential. Competence in ICT,including MS Office and data management systems, is also required.
