Job overview
We are seeking a committed and highly motivated Administration Manager / Theatre Scheduler within Riverside Day Surgery, based at Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith, you will be a highly motivated person that will lead an experienced Administration Team (with a particular focus on theatre scheduling and planning).
The post holder will be responsible for leading and coordinating the team, taking continued responsibility for the daily management and organisation of staff.
The post holder will work very closely with the Deputy General Manager, Matron, Service Support Manager and with other speciality teams to ensure the needs of the patients are placed at the centre of the care delivery.
Main duties of the job
- To manage the people and processes of the Riverside Day Surgery with a particular focus on the coordination of the theatre schedule.
- To manage the planning and prioritisation of the work associated within the team and organise all activities in order to achieve a cost effective, efficient, high quality service.

- Degree level qualification or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience

- Knowledge of administration procedures and information systems
- Operational experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
