Overview
Are you a digital ad tech leader who thrives on driving innovation, shaping global strategy, and enabling transformational change? We're looking for an Ad Technology Business Director to join our global team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, leading strategic technology and data initiatives across 40+ markets for one of the world's biggest CPG brands.
This is a high-impact role where you'll collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders to bring cutting-edge advertising technology, data solutions, and operational excellence to life. You'll be the bridge between product, technology, media activation, and market teams-ensuring seamless delivery of both day-to-day support and major strategic projects.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Oversee TAAG Ad Operations Team to ensure streamline implementation and optimal set-up
- Oversee Data Governance individuals to establish and enforce global governance frameworks and best practices to ensure compliance, scalability, and operational excellence of client taxonomies.
- Work with audience specialist to establish deep audience data solutions connecting multiple data sources to establish one single truth of our consumers.
- Support successful global media reporting of planned and purchased data into a central dashboard solution.
- Work closely with verification partners on optimal set up to ensure market compliance of Magnum and PMI brand safety protocols and adherence to their Marketing Code
- Drive global DCO roll out with proprietary agency solutions across markets by working with key stakeholders to identify challenges and develop optimal solutions and workflows
- Develop and implement data, tech and analytics roadmaps aligned with client's business transformation and growth priorities which is clear, realistic but ambitious vision for the role that Publicis will play in delivering Data and Analytics capability
- Facilitate integration of ad tech platforms with martech, commerce, and retail media technologies, ensuring data accuracy and measurement integrity.
- Enhance campaign performance, support market onboarding and training, and drive the adoption of best practices across teams.
- Provide guidance and insights on emerging technologies and regulatory topics, including data privacy, identity, clean rooms, blockchain, CDPs, and metaverse applications.
- Implement analytic solutions with analytics manager that contribute towards driving YoY performance growth through forecasting techniques
- Host monthly sessions with global and regional client teams to share knowledge and upskill team members.
Qualifications
What you'll bring
- Strong understanding of the digital landscape, specifically the connection between various digital platforms (e.g. DV360, Google Campaign Manager, SA360, DSPs)
- Working knowledge of Dynamic Creative Optimisation tools and strategies (DCO)
- Successful track record of creating and overseeing the delivery of change management programmes in a regional or global matrix organisation
- An inspirational thinker who can create a clear and powerful vision for teams and clients to align to and manage the delivery of that vision from start to finish
- A strong communicator who can build a convincing narrative and powerfully present the agency's ideas and plans to senior client stakeholders.
- A commercially minded operator, comfortable managing the financial elements of programme delivery including profitability management, resource utilisation and commercial proposals.
- Able to identify when to escalate potential issues before they become a problem.
- Positive and well-informed, able to think quickly on your feet, not afraid to speak up and can defend their point of view without being dogmatic.
- Strong analytical skills and able to understand and interpret data; to identify trends, opportunities and make strategic arguments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to quickly spot and correct mistakes and inconsistencies in data
- Experience working in Global and/or Regional roles
- Agency experience preferred
