- CF Social Work Ltd - Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9SX
- Up to £28,000 per annum (experience dependent)
- 42 hours per week, 7 days per week on a rolling rota
- Full Time
- Permanent
- Reference: 0050
- Required as soon as possible
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Acting Senior Support Worker to join the team at our residential children's home in Felixstowe, Suffolk (with the ability to also work at our other homes across Suffolk should the need arise).

You will:
- have experience leading and supervising a team
- have experience working with children in a residential care setting, particularly those with behavioural or emotional difficulties
- ensure the care and welfare of each child in placement
- provide guidance and support to the team
- have the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- have proven knowledge of safeguarding legislation and responsibilities
- remain calm and professional when a young person is in a crisis
- possess excellent communication skills
- have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is desirable or willing to work towards relevant qualifications
- hold a full UK driving licence
- be understanding that the needs of children, young people and their families are at the heart of everything we do.
