Actemium Automation Eltek is seeking a talented Hardware Design Manager to lead our hardware engineering team in developing cutting-edge solutions for our clients.

About the role

As the Hardware Design Manager at Actemium Automation Eltek, you will lead a team of hardware engineers in the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware components for automation systems.

From concept to production, you will oversee the entire hardware design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise throughout the hardware design process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, project managers, and clients, to define hardware requirements and specifications for automation projects.
• Delivery of projects on time, in budget and to the agreed specifications through task and engineering process management relating to themselves and the members of their team.
• Leading the drive in the department to improve Quality Systems and Standards, ensuring that the operation is consistent in its approach to the Quality System.
• Coordination of resource within their team to maintain the required level of support for the project managers. Ensure resolutions of issues of work priority.

The Person

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve common goals.
• High level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
• Experience in hardware design, including experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for electronic hardware design, such as IPC, UL, and CE.
• Qualified to HNC / HND / Degree level in a relevant discipline
