About the role:

This is an exciting role, working for an award winning and fast growing Financial Planning firm. As the Acquisition Novation Manager, you will be focused on supporting the successful integration and novation of businesses as part of our current and future acquisitions.

You will be an ambassador of Attivo, representing its core values and company behaviours, raising the profile of the business and the profession with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role, with weekly attendence required at our Cheltenham Head Office and travel will be expected to acquiring offices around the UK. As a business, we fully support hybrid working and have both working from home and flexible working policies.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the accurate and timely novation of acquired clients during the acquisition process.
  • Implement streamlined procedures to ensure smooth transitions for acquired businesses into the firm's framework.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all novation processes adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with providers to arrange access for Financial Advisers and their teams from newly acquired businesses.
  • Liaise with provider representatives to expedite access and resolve any access-related issues promptly.
  • Provide ongoing operational support to newly integrated businesses as part of the firm's integration activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for Advisers from acquired businesses, addressing operational queries and concerns promptly.
  • Proactively identify operational challenges and implement solutions to optimise workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure the onboarding journey for acquired businesses and Financial Advisers is compliant with regulatory standards and firm policies.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communication teams to prepare relevant client communications to inform them of the novation process and any changes resulting from business acquisitions
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the novation and integration processes.
  • Seek feedback from Advisors and other stakeholders to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and Financial Planners,
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to novation processes, integration activities, and client communications.
  • Generate regular reports on novation progress, integration milestones, and key performance indicators for senior management review.

About you:

You are an experienced Financial Services professional and have experience of the integration of IFA acquisitions.

You will have demonstrable expertise of the novation process and understand the operation requirements during an acquisition. You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and are able to build strong professional relationships with stakeholders internally and externally at all levels.

You are a natural problem solver, with advanced critical thinking skills and pride yourself on your strong attention to detail.

You are currently an Operational Lead currently or are already working as part of an acquisitions team and are looking to join a client centric business that delivers an exceptional client journey with a company culture of growth, development and continuous improvement.

Essential skills and experience

  • Previous experience working within a similar role is essential.
  • Experience of onboarding / integrating IFA acquisitions is a requirement (client novation)
  • Experience with working with acquiring business to manage and support the novation process

Salary and benefits
Up to £50,000 depending on experience, plus performance related bonus
