Role Intro:
The Order to Cash Lead manages the Credit and Sales Ledger teams, ensuring all related processes are continuously improving to operate efficiently and effectively and to drive the highest standards of data quality and consistency.
Duties:
• Support the creation and drive the implementation of the OTC strategy, working in close collaboration with the Head of Finance SSC and wider leadership team• Deliver the service catalogue for the OTC team in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.• Manage all aspects of transactional processing within the Sales Ledger and Credit teams. • Drive productivity and deliver defined performance services levels aligned with the KPIs and SLAs. • Report monthly performance against OTC KPIs and SLAs • Work closely with the Change teas to identify continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to achieve operational efficiencies. • Support the implementation of new technologies and system changes. • Be the senior escalation point in the event of unresolved or complex issues. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to monitor performance and resolve issues impacting productivity and accuracy.
• Support internal and external audit processes. • Ensure full adherence to the internal control framework. • Recognise and communicate any risks and issues with the team and key stakeholders. • Ensure operational costs are in line with the departmental budget. • Coach, train, develop and motivate the team. • Promote an 'always learning' culture within the OTC teams, encouraging career conversations which focus on colleague development and opportunities. • Engage the OTC teams in UI wide initiatives.
Experience Required:
• Management experience within a transactional service centre, ideally OTC. • Strong understanding of and experience in end to end financial processes. • Experience in driving process excellence within a finance shared services environment. • Motivated by a desire to improve performance, services and outcomes. • Proven ability to influence and drive change. • Strong analytical skills. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. • Proven track record of simplifying processes and compressing timelines. • Working knowledge of Business Central ERP system is desirable.
