As our new Accounts Payable Manager, you'll be working closely with the Financial Controller to lead and develop all aspects of accounts payable and reporting. You'll lead an AP team of 4 with a focus on mentoring them and developing their overall knowledge and skills. You'll be responsible for streamlining and improving the overall AP process within the framework of D365.

The position is a hybrid role based at our Head Office in Hampstead, North London. 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.

As our Accounts Payable Manager, your day-to-day will consist of;

• Manage the AP team on a day-to-day basis, and mentor them to build their knowledge and understanding.
• First point of contact for business queries concerning Accounts Payable.
• Responsible for processing invoices, payments, and payroll where required, ensuring these are completed accurately and on time.
• Review and update all user guides and provide training to employees where needed.
• Maintain accurate supplier records and ensure any changes are authorised.
• Preparation of the weekly payment run.
• Review of Supplier reconciliations, highlighting any areas of concern and taking action to resolve these issues.
• Manage the credit card programme, review of employee expenses, and assist with HMRC Submissions.
• Provide insight into company expenditures and review for areas of cost saving.
• Input in financial and management reporting.
• Build relationships with the business to improve controls, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Manage Accounts Payable's month-end close process.
• Provide Management with a monthly Aged Creditors Report & Commentary.
• Ad hoc projects for Financial Controller as required.
• Develop KPIs for the Accounts Payable team.

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU KID.

To be our perfect Accounts Payable Manager you'll need;

• To be part qualified ACCA/CIMA (Fully qualified AAT)
• At least 5 years' experience working in Accounts Payable within a multi-site business (Hospitality, Leisure, Retail, etc.)
• Microsoft Dynamics D365 experience is essential
• SAP Concur and Bottomline Processing experience desired but not essential
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders
• Intermediate Excel skills, including XLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
• In-depth understanding of accruals & prepayments
• First-class attention to detail and accuracy
