Accounting Manager - IA&R

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our General Accounting team, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to a portfolio of clients. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping our accounting processes and procedures, while mentoring and guiding junior team members to achieve their full potential.

As part of Advisory and Transaction, our Investment, Accounting and Reporting Solutions division services our clients from our offices in the UK, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Germany and Poland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded through exceptional service delivery.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare bespoke monthly and quarterly management reports, as well as annual and interim standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102 for a range of complex entities.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Review and prepare SPV and Holdco reporting and financial statements, while providing support with financial analysis, complex reporting, and work on acquisitions and disposals.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with our team of accountants to ensure seamless delivery of services, while mentoring and guiding junior team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with our Director to implement changes that drive efficiency and excellence.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with current procedures to meet SLAs and KPIs within agreed timeframes.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain relationships with other departments, while attending client meetings and internal meetings to drive collaboration and success.

Key Skills:

  • Accounting Expertise: A professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA or CIMA) qualification is preferredwith a strong understanding of IFRS and FRS 102.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Experience in preparing financial statements and accounting for transactions
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex financial challenges.
