In CBRE Investment Accounting and Reporting Solutions we are looking for a client accountant to be responsible for service delivery to portfolio of clients in line with agreed client specific service level agreements
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring delivery of all reporting for small allocated client portfolio and assistance on larger fund structure
- Assistance with and preparation of bespoke monthly / quarterly management reporting based on client requirements
- Assistance with and preparation of annual standalone financial statements in accordance FRS 102
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Responsible for compliance with current procedures to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met within agreed timeframe.
- Requirement to attend client meetings and internal meetings.
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Responsible for making payments and requests for funding issues for clients
- Coding of supplier invoices onto accounting system
What are we looking for?
- An Accountancy/finance degree or professional equivalent or that you have strong technical financial/management accounting skills.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Focussed on delivering solutions within agreed timeframes.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude/outlook and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to remain calm and in control when working under pressure.
- Property Accounting experience would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a business culture that promotes adherence to procedures and controls.
- Experience in providing bespoke reports to clients based on accounting information.
- Excellent Computer Skills - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project and PowerPoint).
