We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Communications Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join the ModusBPCM Beauty team to support our beauty portfolio. The ideal candidate will support the team with new launches, ongoing product placement, press previews, large and small-scale events, and manage sample trafficking and reporting on behalf of our clients.

ModusBPCM is a global creative brand communications agency with offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. Our busy London Beauty department is currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Communications Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join the team to support our beauty portfolio. The ideal candidate will support the team with new launches, ongoing product placement, press previews, large and small-scale events, and manage sample trafficking and reporting on behalf of our clients.

The Communications Account Manager / Senior Account Manager will have the chance to join a team of hardworking and fun individuals. The main responsibilities of the role include building a strong portfolio of media placements in top publications, connecting with top-tier industry contacts, and crafting impactful media coverage through strategic and creative pitch angles. In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will also support the planning and implementation of events. The role offers the chance to work in a fun and beauty-forward environment with world-renowned clients, providing the perfect setting for the successful candidate to advance their professional journey.

This role is based at our London office on a hybrid basis, requiring a minimum attendance of 3 days a week.

Your Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with strategy and planning and implement 360 brand campaigns, partnerships and events
  • Liaising with clients, press and influencers
  • Create client presentations and reports on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Proactively think of pitch ideas and trend led focuses and pitch to generate coverage
  • Proactively building new relationships across new press, influencers, makeup artists and hair stylists
  • Manage / assist on new product/brand launches ensuring mailing lists, press releases, e-blast are created to a high standard.
  • Support Account Directors in strategy creations and implementing them
  • Securing high levels of coverage across all media and social channels
  • Proactively think of new activations that can amplify a client's awareness for both new and existing launches
  • Creatively look at mailers and come up with unique ways to engage with target audiences
  • Keep up to date with latest industry trends
  • Help oversee the organisation and implementation of client events

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years' PR experience as a Senior Account Executive / Account Manager
  • Excellent team player and independent worker
  • Highly motivated beauty enthusiast
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and competitor brands
  • Excellent press and influencer contacts, especially in UK beauty and wellbeing
  • Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and work in various environments.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and creative writing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Confident working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dropbox, Google Docs / Sheets

The anticipated salary range for this position is £34,000 - £40,000 per annum. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
