Account Manager - EPOS Solutions

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)

Division: EPOS Bureau

Reports to: EPOS Bureau Sales and Account Management Lead

Are you a proactive Account Manager with a knack for building lasting client relationships? Do you have a strong background in software or EPOS systems and a passion for helping customers thrive?

At ClearCourse, we're looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our EPOS Bureau team, a market-leading provider of omni-channel solutions for speciality food retailers such as farm shops, butchers, and delis.

In this role, you'll be central to driving customer success by strengthening relationships, identifying opportunities to upsell, and ensuring customers are fully engaged with our solutions. You'll work closely with clients to understand their businesses and advise them on how to maximise the value of our technology - including helping them adopt our integrated payments solution, ClearAccept.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Maintain regular and meaningful contact with customers
  • Drive growth through cross-selling and upselling into your account base
  • Understand customer challenges and recommend product features to address them
  • Support customers in adopting our latest solutions and product innovations
  • Develop strategic growth plans for key accounts
  • Lead conversations to migrate clients onto the ClearAccept payment platform
  • Maintain accurate account and sales pipeline records
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Operations, Development and Marketing teams
  • Report monthly on key metrics and sales forecasting
  • Minimise customer churn and promote loyalty
  • Deliver excellent customer service and deepen your understanding of our products and the industry

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven success in a target-driven, client-facing Account Management role
  • Strong commercial awareness and persuasive communication skills
  • Experience with cloud-based software or retail technology (EPOS is ideal)
  • Ability to gather requirements and demonstrate product capabilities
  • Strategic thinker with the confidence to influence and advise senior stakeholders
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Experience or interest in Department Store or Furniture retail sectors is a bonus
