They work as trusted partners, creating better solutions and experiences for their customers, communities, and colleagues.About the opportunity:Based out of our state head office in East Perth, as our Account Manager you will be responsible for driving Tier 1 and 2 customer sales for our Perth Concrete Business. From bid identification, through to works completion you will be the company representative for relevant account management activities. You will deliver the agreed sales targets and business goals through maintaining structured, tailored contact plans enabling you to quickly establish and improve relationships with new and existing customers.It is an autonomous role, offering you the chance to truly manage your own customer accounts with a supportive management team setting realistic targets and goals and within a culture focused on the recognition of effort and reward for achievement and development.Duties and responsibilities:Build relationships and identify opportunities to supply construction materials.Generate and convert new leads.Build brand loyalty and maximise revenues.Develop and maintain a structured customer contact plan within the allocated accounts in line with allocated budget targets.Maintain and enhance positive working relationships with assigned customers to build customer loyalty.Identify and follow up all new business, product and/or project opportunities within the existing customer base.Resolve customer issues, disputes and/or complaints, both onsite and offsite, in a prompt and professional manner.Enrol relevant internal staff and ensure accountabilities are clearly defined to resolve issues satisfactorily.Proactively promote the full product and service range within the territory to maximise opportunities.Maintain an accurate and up to date customer database.Maintain an understanding of the market changes, trends, opportunities, risks and competitive activity within the allocated territory.Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all relevant internal staff that impact on the customer experience.About You:You should have proven experience in B2B sales ideally gained within the Concrete / Construction/ Building Materials sector.Well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport.The ability to put together solutions that add value for your customers.A high proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and other systems required to do the role effectively is required.Experienced in dispute resolution and claims management.A strong team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.A well-developed understanding of the importance of and ability to effectively communicate and build relationships both externally and within the business.This is an outstanding opportunity to join our high performing team and to contribute to our world leading business.
