Account Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the briefing and content sign off, of in- store Point of Sale for the M&S Food account. This role is integral to the effective running of the marketing function within M&S, coordinating the delivery of all administrative elements of marketing campaigns and activity.
This role is key in translating M&S's marketing vision into a detailed line by line brief for the whole of the ITG production team to follow. Working closely with various M&S teams, the role will ensure all artworks, production briefs and costs are approved by key stakeholders in turn allowing for a seamless campaign delivery to stores. The role exists to support the Marketing Manager within the business unit area and requires accuracy, flexibility, proactivity and confidence to discuss concerns with key stakeholders when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will support the Marketing Manager to develop compelling, authentic, customer relevant propositions for category communications and campaigns. These should be developed collaboratively ensuring they are highly commercial and mindful of operational challenges.
You will assist in the development of proposition briefs for specific category initiatives that meet commercial objectives and are aligned with key stakeholders. Briefs should reflect the overall strategy and priorities of Food Marketing, and should have clear budgets, timings and consumer targets.
You will support on campaign PIRs to ensure learnings are captured and set clear recommendations for future activity.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of relevant category marketing budgets.
Support the commercial rhythm, acting with pace to respond to market conditions. You will develop plans to engage in-store colleagues driving anticipation and excitement around key seasonal campaigns.
Requirements
- You have a good understanding of Artwork, Print and POS production processes. You know your way around Excel with your eyes closed.
- You can project manage with the best, instinctively know what's the next step in any of your projects and manage timelines.
- You'll be comfortable with numbers as you'll be keeping up with the finance requirements in the role.
