An opportunity is available for an experienced Account Manager to join the highly successful team covering the London area.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be based in London or surrounding regions and will be required to visit customers, potential customers and attend meetings at the relevant offices as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Effective and on time servicing of the customer accounts for which the Account Manager is responsible including Water Treatment weekly/Monthly visits, when appropriate.
  • Carrying out contracted technical visits to customers in accordance with the contractually agreed timetable
  • To plan personal sales activities and customer/prospective customer contact including the establishment of priorities in support of Company aims, as well as the managing of personal time and productivity.
  • To manage the customers or territory assigned to the job incumbent in a manner which conforms to the market development strategy agreed with the relevant Regional Sales Manager.
  • To respond effectively to all sales enquiries
  • Maintain and expand the Company's business with existing customers by ensuring that they are fully aware of the full range of the Company's products and services
  • Complete and file all paperwork, certification and code of conduct compliance documents

Requirements

  • Experience in analytical service visits for steam boilers, closed systems, cooling towers, and effluent
  • Working knowledge of the HSG274 guidance
  • Full UK driving license is essential
  • Proven track record in account management
  • Excellent sales skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver targets
  • Experience in building strong relationships with customers
  • Good presentation, planning, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge and experience in water hygiene and water treatment
  • Familiarity with CRM / digital quoting platforms
  • Self-motivated and able to consistently work to a high standard
  • Possess strong IT skills
