We're hiring for an Account Manager to join our Client Services team in Edinburgh.

Purpose of the Role

As Account Manger you'll support the planning and handling of key accounts. You'll help manage and monitor the workload of the team, drive collaboration with specialist teams and build strong client relationships on a day-to-day basis, to deliver outstanding results for clients. Representing the whole of the agency to our clients, your role demands impressive collaboration skills as well as the agility to add value across the 20+ online and offline media channels we manage on behalf of our clients.

Our client services team work with clients that include Scottish Government Framework Partners like Brand Scotland, VisitScotland, Scottish Development International as well as brands such as National Trust for Scotland and Ryanair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Account Director to deliver innovative and creative solutions to client briefs
  • Manage clients' communication plans including timelines and budget including reviewing client plans and uses understanding of the client's business to drive greater margin and value through innovation and better and different ways of working
  • Oversee the management and delivery of ongoing media plans and works with specialist teams to optimise performance and ensure ongoing delivery of integrated communications planing across all outputs
  • Supports on large client accounts and leads smaller clients and act as a trusted adviser to client to build relationships, manage internal interactions and conversations with other markets as needed
  • Coordinate invoicing and payments process in line with contractual terms agreed; oversses processes to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Support Account Executives acting as a mentor to support the growth and development of all team members

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience across a range of online and offline media channels, ideally from an agency background
  • Strong experience of creating engaging planning processes, able to use planning tools and methodologies effectively
  • Awareness of latest market developments, trends and emerging technologies
  • Experience of working with and managing clients with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of products and services to drive business value for clients and the business, able to identify areas for income growth, improved profit margins
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking and seeks resolution for problems

What we offer

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our Edinburgh office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Tuesday and Thursday.
