What you will be doing

Each Account Manager is responsible for renewing our corporate contracts and is personally responsible for growing revenues and embedding Passport (product) and Euromonitor. Working from a named list of existing clients within the broad Services and Technology vertical, Account Managers (AMs) are expected to expand the value of our current partnerships by further entrenching our data and analysis with current and new users. By understanding why clients use and need our information, the AM will be able to recommend the services best fit for their needs which may include expanding their current subscription or engaging with our consulting team.

Revenues will come from:

Annual price increases on renewals

Revenue growth from upsell - Passport and Via include many customisable options

Monetising account management by charging for analyst support (extractions, presentations, claim letters etc

Custom research revenues - ensure all custom research capabilities are promoted to clients.

What you'll need:

  • Excellence in current role, goal oriented and consistently at or over target
  • 3yrs+ of sales experience, bachelors required
  • Comfortable interacting with executives within various levels and functions
  • Highly organised with excellent time management, managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, numeracy and diplomacy skills
  • Ability to use CRM tools effectively (ideally Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of consumer market trends and dynamics are preferable
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues
  • An additional European language would be ideal, but not necessary

This is a proactive, commercially driven role where success is ultimately measured in renewal retention rate and additional revenue growth. Account Managers (AMs) must be confident and self-motivated, keen to work closely with clients and drive the commercial agenda.

The interview process

Initial Video Call; with a member of our Talent Acquisition team (chat through your CV and learn more about us as a company and the role)

Video Call Interview; with the Hiring Manager and potentially another team member (explore your experience and see if there is a fit for the team and role)

Face2Face Interview; visit our London office and meet the team. (a scenario based task will be involved here and will be sent to you in plenty of time to prep)
