Role Description:
As a Technical Account Manager specialising in B2B Microsoft software and services, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth and fostering strategic partnerships. Your primary objective will be to identify, engage, and close high-value deals with existing enterprise-level clients, and grow our VAR relationships with our tier 1 software vendors - Microsoft and Boomi. Leveraging your deep understanding of Microsoft products and services, you will showcase the transformative potential of our solutions and effectively communicate their value propositions to decision-makers across industries.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and exceed quotas.
- From your Accounts, build a robust pipeline, and prioritise opportunities for maximum impact.
- Leverage market intelligence and competitor analysis to position our offerings effectively.
- Consultative Selling:
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis and align Microsoft software and services to address client challenges and goals.
- Demonstrate expertise in articulating technical solutions and guiding clients through the sales process.
- Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and expand existing client relationships, consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, such as pre-sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
- Negotiation and Deal Closure:
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring win-win outcomes for both the client and the company.
- Drive the sales cycle from prospecting to proposal creation, presentation, and final contract signing.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, consistently delivering on quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, activities, and forecasts in our SalesForce CRM system.
- Provide regular reports and insights to sales management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven B2B sales and account management experience, with a focus on Microsoft software and services.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft products, including .NET, PowerBI, Azure and SharePoint.
- Experience of VAR relationships with Tier 1 software vendors
- Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional consultative selling and negotiation abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships at the executive level.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
