Overview
P&A Account Director
Spark Foundry UK - Publishing & Audio
We are hiring a P&A Account Director to play a pivotal role in shaping best-in-class publishing and audio campaigns for some of the UK's most recognisable brands. Working closely with a Group Account Director, you'll lead the planning, delivery and performance of high-impact campaigns across a flagship client in a competitive marketplace. This is a role for someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity and takes pride in precision, craft and commercial impact. At Spark, you'll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values expertise, accountability and shared success.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of publishing and audio campaigns, from planning and buying through to optimisation, reporting and reconciliation
- Translating media strategies into clear, cost-efficient plans that deliver against commercial targets and client KPIs
- Taking ownership of pricing, negotiations and audit processes, applying sound commercial judgement to ensure accuracy and value
- Embedding strong operational processes that drive consistency, minimise errors and improve efficiency across campaigns
- Overseeing digital and programmatic activity with a high level of care and precision, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to agreed ways of working
- Acting as a trusted client partner, delivering clear, data-led insights and building confidence through reliability and accuracy
- Coaching and developing junior team members, creating a culture of accountability, learning and pride in high-quality output
Skills we're looking for
- Strong commercial capability, with experience managing budgets, influencing pricing and delivering value for both clients and agency
- A consistent track record of high-quality, accurate delivery, supported by excellent attention to detail
- A structured, process-led approach, with the ability to improve and uphold effective ways of working
- Confidence working in complex, high-demand environments, with a calm, solutions-focused mindset
- Deep knowledge of publishing and audio, alongside a solid understanding of the wider media landscape
- Clear and thoughtful communication skills, with the ability to build trust across clients, partners and internal teams
- Experience leading and developing others, with a focus on ownership, continuous improvement and shared standards
