The Role

We're looking for a commercially minded and socially native Account Director who can confidently lead key client relationships while driving excellence across delivery.

You'll sit at the heart of your accounts - owning senior day-to-day client relationships, guiding your team, and ensuring work is strategically sharp, creatively ambitious, and commercially strong.

You are both a leader and a doer. You bring clarity, pace, and energy. You know what great looks like - and you protect the team while raising standards. You understand how social-first thinking translates into real brand impact.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Accounts with Confidence

  • Act as senior day-to-day client lead across key accounts
  • Build trusted relationships with marketing stakeholders
  • Drive proactive thinking rather than reactive servicing
  • Provide clear senior counsel on social strategy and performance

Own Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee campaign delivery from brief through to wrap
  • Ensure timelines, scope, and budgets are tightly managed
  • Anticipate risk and solve problems early
  • Maintain high standards across all outputs

Drive Commercial Performance

  • Be accountable for revenue and margin performance
  • Identify organic growth opportunities
  • Support SOW development and forecasting
  • Ensure accounts are properly scoped and resourced

Elevate Strategic Output

  • Partner closely with Strategy and Creative to ensure ideas are insight-led and socially native
  • Ensure deliverables ladder back to client business objectives
  • Push for measurable impact across campaigns

Lead and Develop Your Team

  • Manage and mentor Account Managers and Executives
  • Create a high-performance, supportive team culture
  • Provide clear feedback and development pathways
  • Drive accountability and ownership across your team

Champion Collaboration

  • Work seamlessly with influencer, creative, production, and data teams
  • Ensure a joined-up client experience across disciplines
  • Contribute to agency-wide initiatives and improvements

We'd Love You To Have

  • 6-9+ years' experience in social creative or integrated agency roles
  • Experience leading large accounts or multi-market campaigns
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms and creator culture
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Confident presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced agency environments
  • Ability to translate creative ideas into measurable business results
