Our opportunity:
We are looking for an Account Director to join our Communications Practice in London, sitting within the Financial Advisory and Transactions team. We offer a compelling opportunity to advise both private and listed companies although applicants will need solid experience of financial situations advisory from traditional calendar management to more complex transactions including M&A deals, shareholder activism, fundraisings, IPOs, restructuring or defence takeovers.
Ideal for someone who thrives on strategic problem solving, driving activity forward and building a strong rapport with clients and colleagues alike. We are flexible in terms of sector experience, our core sectors are Financial Services, Real Estate, Consumer Industries, Energy, Transport & Infrastructure and TMT.
What you’ll be doing:
You will use your skills and experience of advising listed and private companies to:
- Advise at a c-suite level on a range of different workstream and scenarios
- Take ownership of specific accounts or projects, leading day-to- day client communications and managing client relationships to ensure deliverables are met
- Work alongside colleagues across our Advocacy, Crisis, Digital, Research and Design to develop and deliver industry leading corporate affairs programmes
- Execute high quality work profitably across your client portfolio to deliver agreed strategic outcomes
- Support less experienced team members to deliver high quality work
- Contribute to revenue growth within existing client portfolio and through pitch preparation and pitch execution
- Mentoring junior colleagues to drive confidence and excellence
