The Role:

As a forward-thinking and inclusive creative agency, Ogilvy is expanding its team to meet the demands of executing global creative platforms in competitive markets. This growth opportunity is for a seasoned professional stepping into the role of Account Director. In this senior position, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding client relationships grounded in trust and mutual respect.

Your leadership will inspire teams, foster innovation, and orchestrate impactful campaigns. With your finger on the pulse of industry trends, you will drive the evolution of our brand's offerings and seize strategic growth opportunities.

Your expanded role entails ensuring a unified strategy, overseeing execution, and ensuring seamless delivery. Effective communication will be instrumental in cultivating a strong partnership that maximises creative potential and achieves shared objectives. Embracing a culture of agility and innovation, you will optimise processes and champion a continuous improvement mindset. By monitoring campaign outcomes through data analysis, you will drive enhancements and make strategic course corrections when needed.

The client

Our client is a leading global payment technology company, one of the largest in the world, with a significant global presence. They operate across traditional payment service lines, such as credit, debit, and pre-paid card services. However, they are increasingly focused on expanding their footprint through new services and embracing new network opportunities. This includes expanding services to include new payment flows for commercial organizations or governments, enabling digital identity services, and embedding services into new app services.

The work we do for this client covers B2B and B2B2C marketing, building out product propositions to support new product expansions, building sales enablement toolkits, go-to-market plans, and the creation of advertising, activation, internal comms, digital assets, social, and content

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion exacting standards for agency work, prioritising meticulous attention to detail and precision in representation.
  • Cultivate an environment that encourages the exploration of creative boundaries and visionary thinking.
  • Adopt an open and adaptable mindset towards industry trends, ensuring our approach remains relevant and fresh.
  • Foster a creative atmosphere that aligns the client's perspective with the agency's profitability objectives.
  • Promote diversity and inclusivity to nurture a creative environment that embraces a spectrum of perspectives.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in creativity, marketing, and industry trends.
  • Facilitate collaboration and inclusiveness by valuing and integrating diverse viewpoints from team members.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients, aligning their goals with effective campaign strategies.
  • Collaborate in crafting presentations that compellingly showcase the agency's capabilities and expertise.
  • Keep the team well-informed about current trends and insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying and propagating agency values and culture.
  • Optimise operational efficiency by refining processes and workflows for superior outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Drive strategic and creative excellence in integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across diverse platforms and channels.
  • Manage projects effectively, leveraging sound knowledge of build costs and PM tools.
  • Maintain a track record of budget management and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Leverage data analytics to inform the development of integrated strategies and optimize campaign performance.
  • Adapt global marketing strategies to suit local nuances.
  • Craft and deliver engaging presentations to clients.
  • Convey the value of integrated campaigns with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ensure strategic alignment of integrated campaigns with overarching brand objectives.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in integrated marketing.
  • Identify integration opportunities across diverse marketing channels.
  • Ensure high-quality campaign execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in marketing processes.
  • Distil complex concepts into simple, understandable messaging.
  • Manage multiple integrated projects simultaneously with unwavering attention to detail.
  • Apply experience in B2B or financial services to develop effective marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrate key strategic thinking skills to develop and implement effective marketing plans.
