Account Director

Role: Account Director - Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week - HYBRID (2 days office & 3 days remote)
Salary: £60,000 + OTE + Car Allowance + Benefits
Do you have a passion for selling Learning and Development solutions that can really make a difference? As an Account Director, you'll be consulting with new and existing customers, really getting to know them. You'll demonstrate how we can help them achieve marketing excellence, giving them a true marketing advantage!
In a typical day, you might :
- You'll be building long lasting and profitable relationships with clients through a consultative client partnership approach.
- You'll meet / surpass sales targets set by the Head of Sales and Commercial Director.
- You'll take ownership of personal sales deliverables and effectively plan and manage existing and pipeline business.
- You'll develop annual strategic plans for your allocated market sectors and execute them flawlessly.
- You'll be working closely with your designated Account Manager reviewing client feedback and performing quarterly reviews as required.
- You'll attend regular virtual and in-person client meetings.
- You'll be liaising closely with our Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience teams to maintain a strong and proactive relationships to deliver CIMs sales strategy
- You'll work closely with Clients, Account Directors and Course Directors (Trainers) to ensure any product development/delivery is in line with customer expectations.
For this role, you'll need:
- Comfortable to lead from the front in environments that can be ambiguous - by addressing customer queries, feedback and challenges
- An understanding of marketing, and how it contributes towards business success
- A problem-solving mindset
- Experience selling Training / Learning and Development solutions
- Curious to understand the world from our client's perspective
- Effective at managing your time, as well as the timelines of our accounts and CIM
- Proven track record of winning high value new logo accounts
- Experience in managing client relationships with multiple stakeholders from a range of multinational organisations
- Demonstrable track record of developing strong and trustful client relationships by delivering high levels of satisfaction
- Ability to drive profitable growth within accounts, by identifying and closing additional opportunities
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Experience of managing the contracting, purchasing and close-out phases of each project
