In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership, management and development of an established Data Centre portfolio. Successful candidates will be technically qualified in either mechanical or electrical engineering and experience of operating Data Centres would be highly advantageous.

You will be organised and detail focused with the ability to multi task and demonstrate strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • A regional role dealing with customers, regional CBRE FM businesses and direct reports in across a growing client portfolio.
  • Full responsibility for Profit & Loss including development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.
  • Provide leadership, ensuring that contractual commitments are met and exceeded
  • Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the portfolio are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, ensure additional services and projects are added, and contracts are re-won on re-tender.
  • Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated, and implemented within the contract.
  • Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both our services and subcontractors activities, and are regularly review.
  • Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.
  • Promoting and maintaining the RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence)
  • Provide a learning environment, and appropriate training and development planning. Ensure basic training needs are delivered, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles, and are able to reach their full future potential.
  • Manages clients simultaneously, while also serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems and processes for new and high-profile projects.
  • Responsible for the management of sales, and relationships with high-profile customers.
  • Responsible for building a project plan, creating a project team, and managing timeframes and performance for client projects.
  • Interacts with the client to ensure proper services and enhancements are being carried out.
  • Identifies new sales opportunities or opportunities for improvements within existing accounts.
  • Manages expectations of client and project team regarding scope of work and responsibilities.
  • Manages and solves conflicts with clients.
  • Ensures the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives as well as contract specifics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
  • Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action, and termination.
  • Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.
  • Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labour, including overtime
  • Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
  • Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
  • Leads by example and models behaviours that are consistent with the company's values.
