Job title: Accommodation Assistant Manager

Location: Green Hill Farm Holiday Village

Pay: £25,480 per annum (£29,120 per annum FTE)

Hours: Full time (average 35 hours per week across the year)

Shifts: Between 9.30am to 5.00pm. Must be flexible with start and finish times.

Days: Varied depending on the time of year, as the role requires more hours in peak months and less in the winter.

Some flexibility on working days will be required.

Contract: Permanent-Annualised

Join our friendly team at Green Hill Farm Holiday Village, in the heart of the New Forest as an Accommodation Assistant Manager. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our holiday homes - including lodges, caravans, shepherd huts and safari tents - are spotless and ready for guests to enjoy a memorable stay, as well as ensuring our dedicated team is motivated, developed and engaged in their role.

What will you do?

  • Assist the Accommodation Manager with managing daily operations the organisation and co-ordination of the cleaning activities for the accommodation team, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards
  • Assist the Accommodation Manager with the new starter onboarding process, inductions and, training
  • Take responsibility for leading and coaching accommodation team members in all park cleaning activities in both holiday homes and sales units, including enabling timely check-ins, carrying out pre-arrival checks and check-out clean downs
  • Contribute to monitoring inventory and coordinating with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies
  • Conduct regular inspections of holiday homes and lodges to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
  • Be responsible for your own high standards of work across all cleaning activities; leading by example
  • Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally to enhance the overall guest experience
  • Collaborate with the other park leaders to develop and implement effective strategies for improving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Working collaboratively across the whole park team

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership, team management and communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, as required
• A desire for personal growth and progression
