We are further expanding our product team to accelerate our delivery of flexible and scalable test and measurement solutions to help our customers bring new cutting-edge technology to market. This role can be based at either of our UK offices in Linlithgow, Scotland or Belfast, Northern Ireland.
As an Associate Product Manager at Calnex, you will work closely with the product team (Product Managers, Product Operations and Technologists), investigating current and future needs in target market segments, analysing current business and product performance, and working with a multi-disciplinary team to take new solution concepts from idea through validation and development.
You will enable successful go-to-market plans as a key contributor in driving the associated messaging to target markets, including technical investigations and customer-facing presentations.
This position would suit candidates with two or more years of technical experience (R&D or applications engineering, etc.) in a related market segment, with a demonstrable desire to combine this with wider business, marketing and strategic thinking. The role offers the opportunity to apply your skills in an ongoing business context: Working on real product lines, alongside (and supported by) experienced product, technology and operations professionals.
We want to help strong contributors achieve their potential. If you are self-driven, organised, comfortable with multi-tasking and willing to help ‘outside of the role’ when required, we will help make the role work for you in return. We seek people who are comfortable communicating directly with customers and have a proven background in learning new technologies as required.
Key behaviours:
You are a finisher: The business environment is busy and constantly changing – you take satisfaction from seeing things through and have the grit and focus to get there. You separate the key activities from the noise.
